Integration with SigParser for Automatic Contact Enrichment
Currently, Rolodex CRM does not support parsing data from the email body or signature. As a result, only basic information such as the email address and name is captured. Key contact details like phone numbers, job titles, physical locations, and even LinkedIn URLs—which are often included in email signatures—are not automatically retrieved. While a separate feature request has already been submitted to enhance Rolodex’s own parsing capabilities, we propose an alternative solution: integrating Rolodex with the SIG Parser API ( https://ipaas.sigparser.com ). SigParser is a specialized tool that accurately extracts structured contact data from email signatures. By connecting Rolodex to the SigParser database, users could automatically enrich contact profiles within the Rolodex CRM, reducing manual entry and improving data quality. This integration should include robust deduplication rules to avoid creating duplicate records. Benefits of this integration: Enriched contact profiles (phone numbers, titles, locations, LinkedIn, etc.) Fewer duplicates across the CRM Better user experience with less manual input More complete and actionable contact database, even without relying on LinkedIn enrichment We believe this feature would greatly enhance the value of Rolodex CRM, particularly for teams managing high volumes of inbound email and relying on the Rolodex mobile app to quickly find and call phone numbers and support Caller Identification.

Encourage Users to Connect with their Contacts on LinkedIn
We propose adding a feature that encourages Rolodex users to connect on LinkedIn with people they’ve interacted with via email or calendar meetings. This option should be configurable by each user—meaning everyone can decide individually whether to enable or disable this prompt. Why is this important? Richer Contact Data: When users establish a 1st-degree LinkedIn connection with their contacts, Rolodex can access richer data—such as profile photos, job titles, locations, and more—directly from LinkedIn, significantly enhancing the contact profiles. Greater LinkedIn Reach and Impact: By proactively building a larger LinkedIn network with contacts from their email and calendar, both individuals and teams can increase their reach. For organizations like research or consultancy firms, this translates to greater impact and visibility when posting updates, insights, or achievements on LinkedIn. Additionally, when you ask questions within your network, having more LinkedIn connections increases the likelihood of receiving helpful answers. Some consultants and professionals value a well-developed LinkedIn network as a key part of their business development and personal branding strategies. Feature Details: Rolodex should identify contacts with whom the user has interacted via email or calendar but is not yet connected to on LinkedIn—and where no invitation is currently pending. Users should receive non-intrusive suggestions or reminders to connect with these contacts on LinkedIn. The feature should be optional and user-configurable in the settings. Summary: Encouraging users to connect with relevant contacts on LinkedIn will enrich Rolodex data and empower users and teams to expand their professional networks and influence.

Automatic Extraction of Contact Information from Email Signatures
Current Situation: Today, Rolodex does a great job centralizing contact information for people our team interacts with, pulling in names an email addresses from Microsoft and Google Mailboxes, and—via LinkedIn—photos, job titles, locations, and companies. Gap: Rolodex does not parse the email body to extract information from email signatures; it only uses metadata and subject lines. In practice, for approximately 85% of our B2B emails interactions, signatures contain at least some of this valuable data: Job title Mobile and/or landline phone numbers Website LinkedIn URL Postal address For example, when a LinkedIn URL is included in a signature, Rolodex could automatically link the contact to the corresponding LinkedIn profile, retrieve additional details (like a photo), and avoid creating duplicate contacts for the same person across platforms. Business Value: For our consultancy business, being able to automatically extract and centralize contact information from email signatures, and to intelligently link contacts across email and LinkedIn, would be extremely valuable. This would improve data completeness, reduce manual entry, and prevent duplicate entries in the Rolodex database. Request: We understand that parsing email bodies to retrieve signature data is more technically demanding than extracting metadata. However, we would like to request a feature that enables Rolodex to: Parse the body of received emails Automatically extract all relevant contact information from signatures (phone numbers, LinkedIn URLs, websites, postal addresses, etc.) Recognize when an email contact matches a LinkedIn profile and link them to avoid duplicates and enrich the contact profile mportant: For confidentiality and data security reasons, we do not want Rolodex to store the full email body—only the extracted signature information. This is essential to protect sensitive correspondence and maintain trust. Summary: Adding intelligent signature parsing and smart contact linking will significantly enhance Rolodex for teams that rely on accurate and comprehensive contact information from email communications.

Accelerate Merging of Duplicate Contacts
At our consultancy agency, we connect both our Microsoft 365 and LinkedIn accounts to Rolodex. Due to recent LinkedIn API restrictions, it is no longer possible to retrieve email addresses or phone numbers via the LinkedIn integration. As a result, we are seeing a significant increase in duplicate contacts: one contact synced from Microsoft with an email address but no photo or LinkedIn profile, and another contact with a photo and LinkedIn profile but without an email address or phone number. Manually merging over a thousand duplicate contacts is simply unmanageable. However, using a blanket "Merge All" approach is also risky, as different individuals can share the exact same name. We would strongly benefit from some intelligent auto-merging capabilities within Rolodex. Suggested Auto-Merge Logic: If two contacts have exactly the same name, and: * Contact A has an email address with domain [ mycompany.com ] but no LinkedIn profile * Contact B has a LinkedIn profile but no email address, and one of the companies listed in that profile matches (or almost matches) domain [mycompany] Then, in 99.99% of cases, we can confidently assume it's the same person, and Rolodex should automatically merge those contacts. Additional Matching Signals: Another way to increase the probability of a correct match is by analyzing the first interaction timestamps. If the first email interaction and the first LinkedIn interaction with each respective contact happened around the same period (e.g., within a few days or weeks of each other), it is highly likely they refer to the same individual. This correlation could serve as a valuable signal for suggesting or auto-confirming matches. Enhancing the Manual Merge Experience: For all other cases, the "Merge & Fix" screen is helpful, but it would be far more efficient if Rolodex displayed a match probability percentage based on string similarity and field comparisons. Currently, we must open and analyze each contacts manually. If Rolodex could display something like "Match Probability: 85%", users could more confidently choose to merge without manual review, saving significant time. This kind of smart, context-aware assistance would drastically improve the efficiency and user experience for teams managing large, complex contact databases.
